The Raspberry Pi Foundation has announced an updated version of its Power over Ethernet HAT, the PoE+ HAT. Revealed in a May 24, 2021 announcement, the Raspberry Pi PoE+ HAT features a planar transformer, better diode rectifier, and higher maximum power as well as output current alongside current sensing capabilities.
