HF CW activity when I get the chance...homebrew radios and gadgets from valve amplifiers using EL84s etc in the past to a TV sound-bar using an Arduino and Class-D amplifier. I have been trying to build an electronic organ for a while but technology changes before I get anywhere!

Eurocircuits Pcb Design Competition Entry: Vidor Expansion
This board is used to get access to the FPGA I/O from the PCI-e edge connector on the Arduino Vidor 4000 board. Some of these signals are fed into three stereo 16-bit DACs to give 5.1 or 6 channels of audio. This board plus a Vidor 4000 will make an extremely versatile electronic musical.

Greenhouse Control System
IoT project to read environmentals viz. temperature, humidity and light, and control a water pump for irrigation, open/close ventilation windows via servos and operate a diesel heater. Water level and enviro info sent up to the Cloud on a regular basis e.g. 15 minutes. This is ideal for a greenhouse located away from Wi-Fi.
Bat Detector
Down-convert ultrasonics from MEMS microphone using heterodyne/Hilbert/CIC decimation ( no idea which yet!) down to audio frequencies say 0-5kHz. Not only pick up bats but listen to keys being dropped on glass tables and amuse your friends with 3-D printed dog-whistles!

Intelligent Home Burglar Alarm
BT Mesh is used to link all sensors together. Each sensor board has a switch input and PIR (Passive Infra Red) sensor. Optionally a microphone. More than one sensor has to give a trigger before the alarm goes off to reduce false alarms.
Domestic Central Heating Radiator Efficiency Optimiser
IoT device to log input and output temperatures of a radiator. The plan is to get a display of temperature differential. One of the radiator valves can then be adjusted to change the water flow until an optimum drop is achieved. That is about 20F or 12C according to the Web, but Analytics on the data can help determine ideal.
