Hardware components

	30N06L Transistor Other typical transistors will work as well.	x 1
	Jumper Wire Kit - 140pcs Need the jumper wire connectors for zippers.	x 1
	12V Alarm Recommend getting the loudest 12V alarm you can find.	x 1
	Rocker Switch This will be used for the disconnect/kill switch for the alarm.	x 1

Hand tools and fabrication machines

	Soldering Iron Your choice of solder melting tool.	x 1
	Heat shrink For cleaning up and isolating connections.	x 1

Story

My Jeep got broken into again, this time by cutting the side window of my soft top. I decided to make a break-wire alarm system that runs across the windows and loops through the zippers. If the cable is cut or a connector at the zipper is unplugged, a 120dB alarm will trigger.

The device was inspired by those anti-theft devices in electronics stores which function using the same break-wire system.
