NXP Cup 'Electromaker Innovator Challenge' rules
You are eligible to enter if you meet the following requirements at the time of entry:
You are a registered participant of the 2019/2020 NXP Cup.
You are not involved in the execution or administration of this contest; and
You are not an immediate family member of (parent, sibling, spouse/domestic partner, child) or household member of an Electromaker or NXP employee.
Teams are allowed to enter more than one project into the contest.
Project owners must be granted permission and/or obtain licences for any submitted materials.
To be eligible for judging, an entry must meet the following content/technical requirements:
You must create a free Electromaker account and register as a participant for this contest.
You must submit a written description of how you built your car, the problems you faced and how you overcame them. Your project write-up should be supported by images and video.
Projects write-ups should be submitted in the English language and give as much detail as possible regarding the project build journey. This article may help.
Projects must be the work of the submitting team (i.e. no plagiarism).
Submissions must be entered by the deadline outlined in the contest brief.
Participants agree their project details may be shared and promoted for the purposes of marketing by the Electromaker, NXP and its partners.
Prizes and giveaways
The following prizes are being offered:
Early bird prize: €250 - Show us you have started your project before 31/12/2019 and we will select a random project to be awarded a €250 cash prize! Simply upload the basic details of your project (min 150 words or 2 minutes video) for a chance to win.
First prize: €1,000 Cash Prize
Second prize: €500 Cash Prize
Third prize: €250 Cash Prize

Dec 31st 2019: Early bird project prize deadline
January 9th 2020: Early bird prize winner announced
April 2020: Announce contest winners
